Mental Health

Stress, anxiety, and low mood can make managing daily activities challenging. Stress may make it difficult to focus and meet deadlines at work. Anxiety about a long household to-do list can make it difficult to start or complete priority tasks. Low mood can make it challenging to get out of bed, prepare for the day, or enjoy activities that you once found meaningful.

Working with an Occupational Therapist to develop practical strategies can help you to participate in your daily activities despite experiencing stress, anxiety, or low mood. The goal is to help you function well in your everyday life even during times of high stress/anxiety and/or low mood.

If stress, anxiety, low mood, or difficulty managing daily tasks is affecting your work or home life, Occupational Therapy may help. If you’ve ever found yourself thinking "I know what I should be doing (or my therapist tells me what I should be doing), but I just can’t seem to get myself to do it", Occupational Therapy may be of benefit.
